USA Today lists <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/travel\/destinations\/10great\/2010-12-02-classic-american-cocktail-lounges_N.htm\" target=\"_self\">10 great classic American cocktail lounges<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>the <em>Times<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/12\/30\/technology\/personaltech\/30smart.html\" target=\"_self\">checks out mixology apps<\/a> (in my meager experience, a lot of these aren&#39;t terribly sound, overly focus on weird shots with &quot;funny&quot; names, or don&#39;t have some necessary ingredients. Best I&#39;ve seen is Cocktails+, based on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cocktaildb.com\/\" target=\"_self\">CocktailDB<\/a>, but I&#39;m not sure it&#39;s still available. I&#39;d dearly love an Android port of that one);<\/li>\n<li>While I do not brook the dissing of Charles H. Baker and his <em>Gentleman&#39;s Companion<\/em>, I liked <a href=\"http:\/\/caskstrength.wordpress.com\/bartending-books\/\" target=\"_self\">this list of good cocktail books<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>London&#39;s <a href=\"http:\/\/tmagazine.blogs.nytimes.com\/2010\/12\/13\/eurostars-experimental-cocktail-club-london\/?hpw\" target=\"_self\">Experimental Cocktail Club looks interesting<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/eatocracy.cnn.com\/2010\/12\/08\/55-lenell-smothers\/\" target=\"_self\">Eatocracy talks to LeNell<\/a> about what (and who) she&#39;s learned to love;<\/li>\n<li>and here&#39;s a nice <a href=\"http:\/\/www.findeatdrink.com\/Index\/Drink\/Entries\/2010\/12\/22_jim_meehan.html\" target=\"_self\">interview with Jim Meehan<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>did you know that if <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2010\/12\/09\/fashion\/09bartenders.html?_r=2\" target=\"_self\">you don&#39;t hire a bartender for your party, you&#39;re just a loser<\/a>?
